What does NDS do?

NDS is driving the growth in pay-TV with proven open end-to-end solutions that enable broadcasters, platform operators, channels, and content providers to succeed. Our solutions and products:

  • Bring wider choice and convenience with more revenue-producing channels, sports and movies through products like the XTV™ Digital Video Recorder that lets viewers watch what they want when they want.
  • Make the viewing experience more engaging, informative and entertaining. NDS offers audience building interactive TV events like the FIFA World Cup and NFL Super Bowl. We have developed applications in partnership with MTV including voting, onscreen games and electronic onscreen sticker applications.
  • Deliver the most popular services and merchandise at the click of a button, like QVC’s buy button, home banking, shopping and Internet services that are fast, secure and easy to use.

Does NDS pay dividends?
The NDS Board of Directors has decided in the past not to pay any dividends.

NDS’s fiscal year ends on 30 June.
 
How can I vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)?
In order to vote in an AGM an investor should indicate to his broker that he wishes to receive information about a future voting and to have the voting material delivered to him. The broker will arrange for the information, which is dispatched by the Bank of New York, to be delivered to the investor and for the voting instructions given by the investor to be executed by the Bank of New York.
 
How can I find the date and details of NDS’s next earnings release and earnings conference call?
The dates of upcoming NDS earnings announcements for the current financial year are specified on the Financial Calendar page of the Investor Relations website. Details of earnings conference calls are generally posted to the financial calendar two (2) weeks prior to the announcement date.
 
Does NDS offer a direct stock purchase/sale plan?
No. All stock transactions should be handled through the stock brokerage firm of your choice.
